Azure Migration & Sql Database Architect

Description:

We are looking for a senior Azure Migration & SQL Database Architect to support large-scale On-Prem to Azure cloud transformations and SQL modernization initiatives in Riyadh.

This is a hands-on architect role for professionals experienced in Azure SQL, HA/DR designs, and enterprise database migrations.


 Key Responsibilities

 Assess customer SQL Server landscapes and define Azure migration strategies
 Lead On-Prem → Azure SQL migrations using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log Shipping, Backup & Restore
 Design and implement SQL HA/DR (Always On Availability Groups, FCI, multi-subnet, multi-region)
 Architect Azure SQL IaaS / PaaS / Managed Instance solutions
 Configure Azure security, governance, policies, and Azure Key Vault
 Plan storage, capacity management, and performance optimization
 Install and configure SQL Server (2008–2022)
 Troubleshoot Windows & SQL Server performance issues
 Work closely with internal teams, customers, and project managers to deliver migration outcomes
 Support DevOps-driven cloud deployments
