Business Architect

Description:

The Business Architect will work as part of the Business Architecture function, acting as a key interface between business stakeholders and Technology teams.
The role will focus on understanding business needs, translating them into technology demands, supporting project initiation, and helping establish a strong business architecture foundation across the organization.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to understand, assess, and triage technology demands.
Develop project cards, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and related documentation.
Support the transition of approved business demands into RFPs and technology projects.
Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
Identify and document business capabilities, functions, processes, and requirements.
Support business process enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct business capability mapping and operating model analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders across core business and support functions.
Support technology projects throughout the demand and initiation lifecycle.
Ensure clear communication and documentation between business and technology teams.
🎯 Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of overall professional experience.
Strong experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, or a related field.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Excellent documentation and requirements management skills.
Experience with business capability mapping.
Experience with operating model analysis.
Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions.
Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
