Business Development Manager

Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our market expansion across fiber optic cables, ODN, telecommunications, and data center sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market-share targets
- Identify new business opportunities across FTTH/FTTx, ODN, telecom networks, data centers, and utilities
- Build and manage strategic relationships with telecom operators, EPC contractors, system integrators, and consultants
- Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation, RFQ qualification, to contract negotiation and closing
- Manage key accounts, track major project tenders, and secure early-stage vendor approvals
- Drive business development specifically for single-mode/multimode fiber cables and passive optical/networking solutions
- Conduct market intelligence to track industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Coordinate cross-functionally with technical, engineering, supply chain, and QA teams to deliver technical/commercial offers
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts for executive management

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Business Development or Key Account Management
- Strong background in fiber optic cable manufacturing, ODN/FTTH/FTTx, data centers, or telecom infrastructure
- Proven track record of B2B project sales, complex sales cycles, and securing large tender wins
- Strong technical knowledge of fiber optic products, specifications, and market requirements
- Exceptional commercial negotiation, strategic planning, presentation, and relationship-building skills
