Cloud Engineer

Description:

Job Responsibilities
·        Partner with customers and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud solution implementations, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
·        Propose and deploy solution architectures on GCP, focusing on Python-driven automation, robust CI/CD pipelines, and secure GKE infrastructure.
·        Collaborate with client stakeholders to design and manage cutting-edge applications on GCP, prioritizing secure network topology and strict IAM principles.
·        Develop strategies for migrating legacy applications to scalable container-based architectures on GKE, ensuring efficient network routing and automated deployment.
·        Guide customers in decomposing monoliths, leveraging container technologies, and writing scalable automation scripts to manage cloud resources.
·        Manage project technical scope, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders, ensuring optimal outcomes for infrastructure modernization.
Must-Have Qualifications
·        Solid practical experience developing and debugging software tools, automation scripts, or microservices using Python.
·        Strong practical experience with Kubernetes (GKE), including deployment management, configuration, and troubleshooting.
·        Solid understanding of Cloud Networking principles (VPCs, Cloud Load Balancing, DNS, network security policies).
·        Practical experience implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) structures following the principle of least privilege.
·        Proven track record of building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and utilizing Terraform for infrastructure deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
·        Systems design ability to understand and contribute to complex systems interactions (data flows, security boundaries).
·        Google Cloud Professional Certification (e.g., Cloud Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer).
