Dell Powermax Engineer

Description:

Experience: 3–5 years (PowerMax 8500, 2500)

Skills needed:
✅ Strong communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure with high accountability.
✅ Proven hands-on experience with Dell PowerMax 8500 & 2500 (design, implementation, operations).
✅ Deep knowledge of SRDF replication, SnapVX, Data Reduction, NVMe over FC, Unisphere, Solutions Enabler.
✅ Lead deployment, installation, and initial configuration of PowerMax arrays (hardware & software).
✅ Configure storage groups, port masking, NVMe namespaces, and SRPs.
✅ Perform data migrations using SRDF, Open Replicator, or approved third-party tools.
✅ Define integration strategies with VMware, Mainframe (z/OS), Open Systems, and backup ecosystems.
✅ Strong background in storage integration with VMware, Windows/Linux, Oracle RAC, and mainframe.
✅ Execute testing and validation for performance, high availability (HA), and failover/failback scenarios.
✅ Excellent problem-solving and escalation management abilities
