Ehs Engineer

Description:

Urgently hiring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineers with proven experience in overhead electricity transmission line projects (T&D) or infrastructure contracting. Candidates must have Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) approval and prior site experience in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement and monitor EHS plans in compliance with SEC safety standards, Saudi regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments for overhead transmission line activities (tower erection, stringing, excavation, heavy equipment).
• Enforce PPE usage and safe work practices across all project operations.
• Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and worker training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, submit reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS documentation and coordinate with client representatives during audits and inspections.

Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering / Environmental Science (or equivalent).
• Experience: 5+ years in EHS roles within overhead transmission lines and/or T&D projects; infrastructure contracting experience accepted.
• Certifications (mandatory unless stated otherwise):
• NEBOSH IGC
• SEC Approval (mandatory)
• OSHA / IOSH (preferred)
• First Aid & Firefighting (advantage)
• Strong knowledge of Saudi EHS laws & SEC guidelines.
• Must be available in KSA & ready to join immediately.
