Electrical Drafter

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating electrical designs and concepts from engineers into accurate and detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software. This role is crucial for ensuring all project documentation is precise and compliant with engineering standards.

Your role will include:

- Preparing detailed electrical drawings (such as single-line diagrams, lighting and power layouts, and cable routing plans) based on engineer specifications.

- Using CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create, modify, and manage electrical drawings, systems, and schematics.

- Ensuring the accuracy of all drawings and their compliance with relevant engineering standards and applicable electrical codes.

- Collaborating with the design team to update and revise drawings as the project progresses and requirements change.

Assisting engineers in preparing technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs). -

Required Qualifications

To be an ideal candidate, you should possess:

A Technical Diploma or relevant Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Drafting or a similar technical field.

Strong practical experience in electrical drafting, preparing shop drawings, and design schematics.

Complete proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD).

Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards related to drawings and detailing.

High level of accuracy in work and keen attention to technical details.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
