External Audit Supervisor

Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise external audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Review audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure audit procedures comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Identify financial reporting risks, internal control weaknesses, and areas requiring improvement.
- Ensure audit assignments are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Team Leadership & Management
Prepare audit reports and present significant findings to relevant stakeholders.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum **7+ years of progressive external audit experience** within a recognized audit firm.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Proven experience supervising audit engagements and reviewing financial statements and audit working papers.
Demonstrated experience managing audit teams and client relationships.
**Big Four audit firm experience is highly preferred.**
Professional qualifications such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification are an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
