Food Cost & Inventory Controller

 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Food Cost & Inventory Controller to join our Cost Control Department, reporting to the Financial Controller. The role involves managing food & beverage costs, inventory control, system development, and ensuring accurate reporting of COGS.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Control F&B costs and minimize wastage through efficient processes
🔹 Perform menu engineering and maintain accurate recipes in the system
🔹 Manage stock receipts, issues, and yield testing
🔹 Coordinate stock counts, analyze variances, and perform outlet audits
🔹 Prepare and validate monthly cost of goods sold (COGS)
🔹 Support Finance with reporting and system development
Requirements:
✔ Qualified Accountant / Cost Accountant with 5+ years’ experience
✔ Minimum 2 years in cost control within the F&B industry (GCC)
✔ Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate–advanced); Microsoft Dynamics preferred
✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
