Description:
The Lead Specialist – Innovation will have a deep understanding of the mining industry, coupled with a strong background in innovation and technology. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and overall business growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support the implementation of innovation roadmap to drive technological advancements and operational improvements.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance mining processes and sustainability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and pilot projects to test new concepts and solutions.

Relationships
- Effective communication and relations with peers, senior leadership, and all Ma'aden functions
- Work with parallel streams like BU R&D units, marketing, product development
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders and innovation team members to review plan progress, deliverables, action items, ensuring proper communication .
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Science or equivalent field
- 8 years of experience in innovation, research and development or a similar role
