Description:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the lighting project sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and government bodies
Work closely with the design/technical team to provide lighting calculations, technical submittals, and proposals
Prepare and deliver professional presentations to clients
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets
Monitor ongoing projects to ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery
Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the lighting industry
Report sales progress, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in lighting sales or a similar technical sales role
Proven track record in project sales (preferably in lighting)
Strong understanding of lighting systems, including LED technology and controls
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, passionate about business success and customer satisfaction
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
