Description:
A leading Construction Project is urgently hiring for the role of MEP Quantity Surveyor
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Qatar or GCC region preferred Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel)
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methodologies
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP QS roles, specifically in building construction projects
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for MEP works
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and conduct cost analysis
- Monitor project budgets and control costs throughout the lifecycle
- Manage variations, claims, and final account settlements
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency
- Support tender submissions and contract negotiations
- Maintain accurate records of all MEP-related financial transactions
