Network Engineer

Description:

Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Manage enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Configure and support VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and EtherChannel.
Troubleshoot complex connectivity and network performance issues.
Support services including DHCP, DNS, SSH, and related network technologies.
Implement network security policies, access controls, and segmentation.
Monitor network availability, capacity, and performance.
Support data-center network infrastructure and preventive maintenance activities.
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, security teams, and other technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of hands-on Network Engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching.
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, routing protocols, and network security.
CCNA and/or CCNP certification.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience

Experience in mission-critical, data-center, or high-availability environments.
Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix.
Network automation using Python or Ansible.
Wireless networking and VoIP.
Exposure to fiber-optic infrastructure is an advantage.
