Planning Engineer

 Job Responsibilities:
✅ Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 in line with project timelines and client requirements.
✅ Prepare and maintain the Planning Package for control system upgrade and shutdown projects.
✅ Track project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. ✅ Develop, update, and monitor shutdown schedules, coordinating with site teams to ensure timely completion.
✅ Conduct delay analysis and provide impact assessments with recommendations for recovery plans.
✅ Support project controls activities, including earned value analysis and forecasting.
✅ Prepare and update cost tracking reports and assist in overall project budgeting.
✅ Provide planning and scheduling inputs for tender preparation and bidding support.
✅ Interface with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
✅ Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and industry best practices.

➡️ Requirements:
✅bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical preferred).
✅7+ years of experience in project planning and controls, with focus on E&I and control system upgrade/retrofit projects in Oil & Gas.
✅Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
✅Strong knowledge of project controls, including scheduling, cost control, and delay analysis.
✅Experience in shutdown/turnaround planning and reporting.
Familiarity with tendering processes and preparation of planning deliverables for bids.
✅ Strong communication and reporting skills, with ability to interact with both management and client teams.
✅Knowledge of industry standards, project execution practices, and contract requirements.
