Plant Quality Manager

Description:

We are partnering with a leading Automotive Manufacturing organization to hire an experienced Plant Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department at a new Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing facility.

This role is ideal for an experienced automotive quality professional with strong leadership skills, expertise in quality management systems, customer quality, continuous improvement, and new project launches.

👇 Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain world-class quality management systems across the plant.
• Lead the JIT Quality Department, ensuring daily quality targets are achieved within agreed timelines and customer specifications.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring all customer requirements are understood and met.
• Monitor, analyse, and report quality performance and results to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Ensure product quality is protected throughout the manufacturing process and prevent defects from moving to subsequent stages.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance existing quality tools and processes.
• Collaborate with internal quality teams to maintain and improve supplier quality performance.
• Support the launch of new programs and projects in line with company quality targets and global strategy.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the quality team to achieve operational excellence.

👇 Key Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Proven experience in a similar Quality Management role within a Tier 1 automotive supplier (essential)
• Experience in JIT/JIS (Just-in-Time/Just-in-Sequence) manufacturing environments is a strong advantage.
• Previous experience supporting or leading new project and program launches.
• Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems, customer requirements, and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong English communication skills
