Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Consultant with 5 years of experience and a PL-300 certification to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with on-premise Power BI solutions and a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence.
Responsibilities:
• Business Users Interaction: Engage with business u to understand their business needs and goals.
• Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
• On-Premise Solutions: Implement and manage on-premise Power BI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Data Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to perform data analysis and data modeling for creating insightful reports.
• Optimization: Optimize Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating data validation and error-checking methods.
• Training: Provide training and support to business users in the effective use of Power BI dashboards.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for all functional and business requirements, ensuring the final product meets these specified requirements.
• Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of developments in the field of Power BI and other business intelligence tools to ensure the company leverages technology effectively.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development and implementation.
• Certification: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics, ETL processes, data modeling, DAX, SSAS and Power Query.
• On-Premise Expertise: Proven experience with on-premise Power BI solutions.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with other BI tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions.
