Pre Sales Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing smart home and building automation division in Saudi Arabia.
As an authorized distributor of LifeSmart Home Automation Solutions, we provide intelligent automation systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, and real estate projects across the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
• Meet clients, consultants, contractors, developers, and system integrators to understand project requirements
• Prepare technical proposals, system designs, compliance statements, presentations, and bills of quantities
• Review architectural, electrical, MEP, and automation drawings
• Design solutions for lighting, curtains, air conditioning, security, access control, energy management, and smart panels
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
• Support the sales team during meetings, site visits, tender submissions, and project negotiations
• Coordinate with technical and installation teams to ensure proper project handover
• Provide technical training and support to partners and customers
• Maintain strong relationships with consultants, MEP contractors, developers, and system integrators

Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Telecommunications, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in home automation, building automation, IoT, ELV, or smart building solutions
• Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred
• Good understanding of wired and wireless automation technologies
• Experience with systems such as KNX, Zigbee, Matter, DALI, Modbus, BACnet, Wi-Fi, or similar protocols is an advantage
• Ability to prepare BOQs, quotations, technical submittals, schematic drawings, and solution presentations
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-handling skills
• Proficiency in English; Arabic communication skills are an advantage
• Valid Saudi driving licence is preferred
• Transferable Iqama is preferred for expatriate applicants
