Description:
Key Responsibilities:
· Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet the procurement requirements of Abbiat Henka and its subsidiaries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and service levels.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and manage supplier contracts.
· Procurement Process:
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
· Cost Management:
- Analyze market trends and assess supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets and expenditure.
· Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all procured goods and services meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any issues related to supplier performance or product quality.
· Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and new products.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging markets to make informed procurement decisions.
· Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and market trends.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Basic knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
