Job Overview
The Project Director oversees the end-to-end delivery of themed entertainment and leisure projects, ensuring
they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. This role leads cross-functional teams,
manages client and stakeholder relationships, and coordinates with designers, consultants, and contractors. A
strong background in project management within the attractions or construction industry is essential.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Team Leadership:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Mentor, coach, and manage project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Delegate project tasks based on team members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Ensure client requirements are met and exceeded, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular status meetings with clients and stakeholders
Financial Oversight:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Track project costs and manage project financials, ensuring alignment with budget constraints.
- Prepare financial reports and projections for management review.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes.
- Manage production in accordance with the master program and any micro-programs. This will include scenic painting, mural painting, drawing, carving of artificial rocks, waterscapes, model making.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
- More than 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or directorial role.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Results-oriented with attention to detail and organizational skills.
