Job Overview

The Project Director oversees the end-to-end delivery of themed entertainment and leisure projects, ensuring

they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. This role leads cross-functional teams,

manages client and stakeholder relationships, and coordinates with designers, consultants, and contractors. A

strong background in project management within the attractions or construction industry is essential.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Team Leadership:

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Mentor, coach, and manage project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Ensure client requirements are met and exceeded, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients and stakeholders

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Track project costs and manage project financials, ensuring alignment with budget constraints.
  • Prepare financial reports and projections for management review.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes.
  • Manage production in accordance with the master program and any micro-programs. This will include scenic painting, mural painting, drawing, carving of artificial rocks, waterscapes, model making.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • More than 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or directorial role.
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Results-oriented with attention to detail and organizational skills.
