Sbl Product Development

Description:

We are seeking support in identifying a seasoned expert in Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) to lead the Product development and launch of an SBL proposition for a prominent institution in Riyadh.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of direct experience in securities finance, specifically in SBL
- Demonstrated success in launching or scaling SBL programs
- In-depth understanding of SBL structures, collateral practices, and risk management
- Strong regulatory knowledge, including CMA (KSA) and international standards (ISLA)
- Familiarity with operational frameworks, CSDs, and lending platforms like EquiLend
- Extensive network across institutional investors, hedge funds, brokers, custodians, and regulators

Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on the development of SBL product frameworks and operational models
- Support compliance, regulatory licensing, and engagement with local and international authorities
- Provide input on technology infrastructure for trading, collateral, and reporting
- Offer market intelligence and benchmarking
- Train internal teams on SBL operations, risk, and best practices
