Widmann, a leading provider of engineering and technical solutions across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, is hiring on behalf of one of our esteemed clients in the region. Our client is a reputable organization engaged in delivering highquality, innovative, and sustainable projects across infrastructure, industrial, and commercial sectors.
As part of their continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their team in Saudi Arabia and contribute to the successful execution of their expanding project portfolio.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of detailed engineering designs and specifications.
- Review and validate engineering drawings, calculations, and design documents.
- Ensure compliance with local (Saudi) regulations and international codes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Support construction and site teams with design-related issues.
- Attend client meetings and represent the engineering discipline effectively
✅ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of engineering design experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, ETABS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of local (Saudi) regulations and international standards.
- Previous experience on large-scale or complex projects in the GCC is an advantage.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, PMP) is a plus.
