Responsibilities and Duties

Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security devices.

• Configure and maintain security appliances to ensure optimal performance and threat detection.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with system administrators and IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

• Lead the response to security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions.

• Document and report security incidents, including root cause analysis and recommended remediation steps.

• Monitor network traffic for security events and anomalies.

• Analyze logs and alerts generated by security systems to identify and respond to potential security incidents.

• Collaborate with external vendors and security partners to stay current on security trends and technologies.
