Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analytics & Visualization Strategy:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics and visualization strategy aligned with the project's objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data analytics requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Design end-to-end data analytics and visualization architectures to support data-driven decision-making
• Technology Evaluation and Selection:
• Evaluate and select appropriate data analytics and visualization tools and technologies, including PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, and other relevant tools
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the project remains technologically competitive
• Solution Design and Implementation:
• Design and oversee the implementation of data analytics and visualization solutions, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security standards
• Develop data models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations to enable stakeholders to extract valuable insights from the project's data
• Data Science Integration:
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate advanced data science models and algorithms into analytics and visualization solutions
• Ensure the seamless integration of predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities
• Quality Assurance:
• Establish data quality standards and implement data validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics outputs
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of data analytics and visualization solutions
• Training and Documentation:
• Provide training and support to project team members and stakeholders on the use of data analytics and visualization tools
• Create comprehensive technical documentation to aid in solution understanding and troubleshooting
• Performance Optimization:
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data analytics and visualization solutions
• Identify and address bottlenecks or areas for improvement
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement security measures and data governance practices to protect sensitive project data
• Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields. A master’s degree is a plus
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role with a focus on data analytics and visualization
• Demonstrated expertise in using PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk and other data analytics and visualization tools
• Experience in designing and implementing data analytics solutions from concept to production
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes
• Strong knowledge of data science concepts and machine learning algorithms
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms is a plus
• Communication and Leadership:
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members
• Problem-Solving:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data analytics and visualization challenges
• Adaptability:
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and technologies
• Certification:
• Relevant certifications in data analytics, data science, or related fields are desirable
• Language:
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
• Other:
• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia if not already based there
• Experience working on large-scale projects or within the culture and tourism sector is a plus
