Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation:
  • Install AVL/GPS tracking devices in vehicles and ensure proper connectivity.
  • Configure and calibrate AVL systems according to client specifications.
  • Ensure all installations are compliant with safety standards and company guidelines.
  • Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance and software updates on AVL systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues with GPS devices, sensors, and other telematics equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the optimal performance of AVL systems.
  • Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by clients.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to address client concerns.
  • Document all service and repair actions in our ticketing system.
  • Support:
  • Provide technical support to clients, addressing any AVL-related issues.
  • Assist with system integrations and updates as needed.
  • Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with GPS/AVL systems, telematics, or vehicle electronics.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle wiring, GPS technology, and network communications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
