Key Responsibilities:

Installation:
Install AVL/GPS tracking devices in vehicles and ensure proper connectivity.
Configure and calibrate AVL systems according to client specifications.
Ensure all installations are compliant with safety standards and company guidelines.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and software updates on AVL systems.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues with GPS devices, sensors, and other telematics equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the optimal performance of AVL systems.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by clients.
Provide on-site and remote support to address client concerns.
Document all service and repair actions in our ticketing system.
Support:
Provide technical support to clients, addressing any AVL-related issues.
Assist with system integrations and updates as needed.
Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience with GPS/AVL systems, telematics, or vehicle electronics.
Strong understanding of vehicle wiring, GPS technology, and network communications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
