Civil Technical Office Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve civil engineering design drawings, focusing on earthworks, road design, and associated shop drawings.
• Develop and manage detailed shop drawings for roadways, grading, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of civil works, particularly in the areas of earthworks and road construction.
• Prepare, review, and manage technical documents, including RFIs, submittals, and variation orders, with a focus on civil infrastructure and road projects.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports, documenting all civil engineering-related issues, with a focus on road design and earthworks, and communicating them to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle, especially in road design and earthwork projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from reputable university.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on earthworks, road design, and shop drawings.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing detailed road design and earthwork shop drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and other relevant design software, with specific experience in road design and earthworks.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles related to earthworks, grading, road design, and construction methods.
• proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding English language is a must.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
