Hse Officer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated HSE Officer to join our Façade Division on a prestigious high-rise project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all HSE standards and procedures during façade installation activities, including suspended access systems, glass handling, lifting, and rigging operations.

🦺 Key Responsibilities:

Façade-Specific HSE Oversight
Implement and enforce HSE procedures specific to façade installation works in high-rise construction.
Inspect and monitor suspended working platforms (cradles, BMUs, monorails, davits, counterweights) to ensure safe operation and certification compliance.
Supervise scaffolding assembly, inspection, and tagging for façade and glazing works.
Oversee aerial lift operations (boom lifts, scissor lifts) and ensure operators are trained and competent.
Ensure safe lifting and rigging of façade panels, glass units, and aluminum assemblies.
Enforce safety protocols for glass storage, handling, and transportation (A-frames, stillages, lifting tackles, PPE compliance).
Conduct work-at-height inspections ensuring proper anchorage, fall protection, and 100% tie-off policy compliance.
General HSE Management
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved Method Statements, JHAs, and PTW systems.
Lead Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and awareness sessions related to façade-specific hazards.
Participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Support ISO 45001 implementation and participate in internal/external audits.
Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, permits, reports, and non-conformance follow-ups.
Promote a strong safety culture among site personnel and subcontractors.

🎓 Qualifications & Certifications:

5–8 years of HSE experience in high-rise façade projects.
Strong knowledge of façade installation, suspended platforms, scaffolding, aerial lifts, lifting & rigging.
Familiar with OSHA, NFPA, and Saudi safety regulations.

Required Certifications:
ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
IOSH / IIRSM or equivalent (preferred)
