Medical Equipment Technician

Description:

The Medical Equipment Technician will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and ensuring the operational readiness of medical equipment, with a particular focus on dental equipment. The role also involves coordinating maintenance activities and managing equipment service and supply contracts.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical equipment.
✅ Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
✅ Install, inspect, calibrate, and test medical devices in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
✅ Manage and monitor medical equipment maintenance and supply contracts.
✅ Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs and preventive maintenance.
✅ Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
✅ Ensure compliance with healthcare quality standards and safety regulations.
✅ Provide technical support to clinical staff when required.

Requirements

✔️ Diploma in Medical Equipment Technology or a related field.
✔️ Experience managing medical equipment maintenance and supply contracts.
✔️ Experience with dental equipment maintenance is preferred.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
✔️ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
