Network Security Engineer

Description:

 Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and secure network traffic, ensuring compliance with security policies.
Configure & manage security tools (Firewalls, EDR, FIM, Antivirus, SIEM).
Detect, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities and cyber threats (malware, exploits, etc.).
Collaborate with SOC/IT teams on incident response and threat mitigation.
Conduct security assessments and risk evaluations.
Help enforce security best practices and standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
✅ Required Skills:
✔ Strong expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network security.
✔ Hands-on experience with EDR, FIM, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
✔ Knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and security frameworks.
✔ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
🎯 Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Certifications like Security+, CEH, CySA+, or Cisco Security.
Excellent communication & teamwork abilities.
