Purchasing Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support our procurement operations, ensure timely sourcing of materials, and maintain strong supplier relationships while achieving cost efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily purchasing activities, including sourcing, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions to achieve competitive purchasing outcomes.
Coordinate procurement requirements with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance departments.
Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
Support the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and operational supplies.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and procurement reports.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement.
Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or FMCG is highly preferred.
Good knowledge of purchasing procedures, supplier sourcing, and quotation analysis.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an advantage.
Good command of English.
