We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QHSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards are implemented and consistently maintained in accordance with company policies, local regulations, and international best practices. This role is vital in supporting a safe working environment and maintaining high standards in food production

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Implement and monitor the company’s hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Conduct daily inspections of food handling areas, equipment, storage rooms, and kitchen facilities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and general food safety guidelines.
• Monitor cleaning schedules and verify execution by housekeeping and production teams.
• Conduct regular hygiene audits and share findings with management.
• Train staff on personal hygiene, safe food handling, and sanitation protocols.
• Ensure proper waste management practices are followed.
• Identify non-conformities, deviations, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and sanitation of food-contact equipment.
• Maintain documentation and records for all hygiene-related activities.

🔹 Job Requirements

Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Food Technology, Public Health, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in food hygiene, food safety, or a similar role in the catering industry.
• Certifications in GMP, HACCP, or Basic Food Safety Level 3 are an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Good understanding of HACCP principles and food safety management systems.
• Ability to conduct inspections and prepare detailed reports.
• Strong communication skills for staff training and awareness.
• Ability to identify food safety risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
