Senior Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with Snort (v2 & v3), Cisco Intrusion Prevention Systems, and a strong foundation in network security architecture and operations.

Must have skills & Qualifications:-
·      Minimum 8+ years of experience in network security engineering roles.
·      Expert-level experience with Snort v2 and v3, including rule creation and tuning.
·      Strong hands-on experience with Cisco
·      Excellent understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security principles.
·      Ability to draw and maintain network and security architecture diagrams (using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
·      Strong experience with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump.
·      Familiarity with security operations and SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of interfacing with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
·   You will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing intrusion detection and prevention systems, interfacing directly with clients, and playing a key role in the delivery of robust network security solutions.

Preferred Certifications:-
·      CCIE Security (preferred or actively pursuing).
·      Cisco Certified Specialist – Security Core or Firepower.
·      GIAC certifications (e.g., GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent.
·      CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or similar.
