Our company is seeking to hire a Site Accountant to join our team on one of our construction projects.
Job Title: Site Accountant
Industry: Contracting – Construction & Field Projects
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Accountant in the contracting/construction sector.
Full knowledge of site accounting procedures, daily expenditures, and financial reconciliations for projects.
Ability to prepare financial reports for the project and follow up on payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
Proficient in accounting software such as ERP systems and Excel.
Willingness and ability to work on-site at project locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and document daily expenses on-site.
Prepare periodic financial reports for the project.
Submit supplier invoices and follow up on purchase orders and payment certificates.
Maintain continuous coordination with the finance department and head office.
Monitor the site’s allocated budget and ensure compliance.
