Subject Matter Expert

Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Aruba Wireless and Data Center technologies. The role involves leading the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of our wireless and data center network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
Network Management: Lead a network engineering team to ensure high availability and proactive operations, aligning with Managed Services SLAs and KPIs.
Infrastructure Expertise: Implement and maintain network and wireless infrastructure, with a focus on Aruba and ClearPass products, as well as technologies like Fortinet Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers.
Performance & Security: Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement security policies. Perform vulnerability remediation and supervise security audits.
Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network incidents (severity 1, 2, and 3). Provide on-call coverage to support network-related issues outside of regular hours.
Documentation & Processes: Develop and enforce a "zero-outage due to change" strategy by preparing and reviewing Network Implementation Plans (NIPs) and Method of Procedures (MOPs). Maintain detailed documentation (HLD, LLD, SOPs).
Collaboration & Mentoring: Coordinate with vendors (like TAC and professional services) and internal teams. Mentor junior engineers on new technologies and troubleshooting.
Automation: Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell) to streamline network operations.

Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of experience in network operations and managed services.
Certifications: CCIE Wireless or equivalent industry certification is required.

Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Aruba and ClearPass products.
Expertise in Network Security, Routing, and Switching.
Experience with ACI and SD-WAN is preferred.
