Technical Engineer

A leading construction and fit-out company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Engineer to join its team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, coordination skills, and the ability to ensure the successful execution of construction activities in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, site engineers, and project management teams to resolve technical issues.
Prepare, review, and follow up on technical submittals, material approvals, and shop drawings.
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to site teams during project execution.
Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Prepare and review RFIs (Requests for Information) and coordinate responses with consultants.
Monitor technical progress and ensure timely resolution of design and engineering issues.
Assist in quantity verification, material take-offs, and technical evaluations when required.
Maintain proper technical documentation, records, and reports throughout the project lifecycle.
🔹 Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Relevant experience in construction, building projects, and/or interior fit-out works.
Strong knowledge of technical drawings, construction methodologies, and project specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
Familiarity with shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical coordination.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
Candidates with experience in commercial, residential, or large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
