Responsibilities:

working with database software to find ways to store, organize and manage data
Troubleshooting
keeping databases up to date
helping with database design and development
managing database access
designing maintenance procedures and putting them into operation
ensuring that databases meet user requirements.
liaising with programmers, applications/operational staff, IT project managers and other technical staff
managing database security/integrity and backup procedures
implementing security measures

Qualifications and Experience:

Advanced certification as a Microsoft Certified DBA and Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
Expert in Oracle, SQL and Mongo DB management and replication
Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including MS SQL, Oracle Database & Data guard
Proactively monitoring DB performance and capacity planning
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches and hot fixes on DB’s
Proactively maintain all DB infrastructure technologies to maintain high service uptime
Perform change management, problem management and incident correlation on re-occurring issue
