• Strong finance expertise beyond operational execution
• Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to explain complex finance topics to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong ability to structure topics and present them in a way tailored to the audience
• Extensive experience in managing senior stakeholders, including the ability to stand firm and handle pressure
• Design and implementation of Finance strategies and Target Operating Models for the CFO organization, covering governance, processes, and enabling technologies
• AI-driven Finance Transformation – acting as a bridge between finance stakeholders and data/technology teams to identify, design, and co-develop AI-enabled finance capabilities (e.g., generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation) that enhance decision-making and automate finance processes
• Leading cross-functional transformation initiatives at the intersection of finance, business, and technology within complex transformation programs • Finance Performance Management – redesigning planning, forecasting, and performance steering processes using advanced analytics and modern management reporting frameworks
• Accounting & Closing Innovation – supporting the implementation of regulatory and IFRS requirements while improving accounting and closing processes through automation and digital tools
• Treasury Transformation – design and implementation of modern treasury management capabilities and solutions
• Leading large-scale Finance Transformation Programs – driving the execution of finance operating model transformations, digital finance platforms, and data-driven finance capabilities
• Post-Merger Integration (PMI) – supporting finance integration and operating model alignment in merger and acquisition scenarios
• Business Development & Client Engagement – supporting the development of new client opportunities, contributing to proposal development and client presentations, and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders to expand the firm’s Finance and AI transformation footprint in the region
• A solid functional understanding of how emerging technologies, such as AI, can support the finance function and where they can be effectively applied
• A stronger focus on candidates from an FP&A background rather than purely financial accounting
• It would be highly beneficial to have candidates with proven consulting experience.
