Group Head of Legal Affairs

Description:

We are conducting a confidential search for an accomplished Group Head of Legal Affairs to lead enterprise legal strategy, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, litigation management, and legal risk across a leading multinational organization operating throughout Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and international markets.

Reporting directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Board of Directors, you will oversee corporate legal affairs, mergers and acquisitions support, contract negotiations, governance frameworks, dispute resolution, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory matters while partnering with executive leadership, external counsel, regulators, and government authorities.

Key Requirements

✔ 15–20+ years of senior leadership experience in Corporate Law, Legal Affairs, Commercial Law, Regulatory Law, Governance, or Legal Advisory

✔ Proven success leading enterprise legal functions for multinational corporations or major law firms

✔ Strong expertise in corporate governance, commercial contracts, M&A transactions, compliance, litigation management, employment law, intellectual property, and cross-border legal matters

✔ Experience working with Boards of Directors, Executive Committees, regulators, sovereign wealth funds, and government authorities

✔ Juris Doctor (JD), LLB, LLM, or equivalent internationally recognized legal qualification with admission to practice law preferred
