Head Accountant

Description:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Construction Accounting: Manage project accounting, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and project budget analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts for construction projects, highlighting potential financial risks.
• Odoo ERP: Utilize Odoo ERP to manage financial data, streamline processes, and enhance financial reporting.
• Vendor and Supplier Management: Oversee financial transactions with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
• Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to manage project expenditures, analyze cost variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Audit and Compliance: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Financial Planning: Contribute to the development of the company's financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
• Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's financial health.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• 7-15 years of experience in construction accounting, financial management, or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP or other relevant ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and project finance.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
