Inventory Controller

Description:

Key Responsibilities

Manage inventory of raw materials, finished conveyor belts, spare parts, accessories, and trading products.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of goods receipts, production consumption, stock issues, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with ERP/system records and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor minimum and reorder levels and coordinate with Purchase and Production to prevent stock shortages.
Identify and report slow-moving, non-moving, dead, obsolete, damaged, and excess stock.
Prepare stock ageing, inventory movement, reconciliation, and variance reports for management.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Sales, Dispatch, and Finance for smooth inventory operations.
Work with Finance to monitor inventory value, dead stock, excess stock, and working capital impact.
Maintain accurate item codes, product specifications, stock locations, delivery points, and inventory master data.
Implement effective inventory control practices to minimize stock discrepancies, excess inventory, dead stock, and stock-outs.
Requirements

0–1 year of experience in inventory control, stores, warehouse, or material management.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, rubber products, conveyor belts, or trading is an advantage.
Good knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management software.
Strong attention to detail, numerical ability, and record-keeping skills.
Good coordination and communication skills.
