Logistics Lead

Description:

-Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in the GCC market.

-Proven experience in handling logistics for inbound and outbound shipment.

-Well versed custom duty exemption & clearance as per KSA law.

-Excellent communication abilities.

-A professional procurement certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

-Optimize transportation costs and other planning parameters.

-Maintain communication with transport service providers to place orders, receive confirmations, and monitor key milestones.

-Manage custom duty exemption approvals from the ministry.

-Work with freight forwarders to secure the shortest and most cost-effective vessel schedules.

-Coordinate with Project and Procurement teams to ensure timely collection of shipments.

-Negotiate effectively with transporters, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to secure the best prices within budget.

-Follow up with overseas suppliers for export documents.

-Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.

-Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
