Safety Officer

Description:

We’re seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to support health and safety compliance across gasification and power operations on a major industrial project in Jazan. This site-based role focuses on hazard identification, safety program implementation, and promoting a strong safety culture.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific HSE regulations.
- Conduct job hazard analyses (JHA), safety inspections, and risk assessments.
- Assist in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Support PTW, LOTO, confined space entry, and emergency response protocols.
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
- Perform routine safety audits and compliance checks.
- Track safety KPIs and recommend performance improvements.
- Maintain safety documentation and support emergency preparedness.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
3–7 years of HSE experience in industrial environments (gasification/power preferred).
Minimum 2 years in a field safety role.
NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, ASP, or equivalent certification preferred.
Proficient in safety audits, incident reporting, and training delivery.
Familiarity with OSHA, ISO 45001, and Saudi regulatory standards.
Strong skills in MS Office and HSE management software.
