Safety Officer

Description:

MENA Executives is looking for a Safety Officer on behalf of a leading Manufacturing Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The role will ensure compliance with safety standards and Saudi regulatory requirements by supporting site operations, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and enforce safety standards

• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions

• Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to employees

• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective actions

• Monitor proper use of PPE and adherence to permit-to-work systems

• Maintain safety documentation and support compliance with internal policies

• Support emergency drills and first-response preparedness

• Liaise with the team to integrate safety into operations

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

✅ NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory

✅ 3–4 years of HSE experience in construction or manufacturing sectors

✅ Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field – Preferred

✅ Familiarity with Saudi labor law and HSE regulations

✅ Proficient in inspections, safety documentation & incident reporting

✅ Strong communication and coordination skills

✅ Fluent in English
