SPM should have a deep understanding of project management principles and best practices, as well as the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. SPM will play a critical role in the success of organizations by leading and managing complex projects as per required schedule.

Detailed Responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager

• Develop and manage project plans and schedules

• Identify and manage risks

• Secure and manage resources

• Track and report on project progress

• Communicate with stakeholders

• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

• Developing and implementing project management methodologies and standards

• Mentoring and coaching project managers

• Participating in business development activities

• Leading process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications of the Senior Project Manager

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field

• 15+ years of experience in mega projects for oil and gas, telecommunications, security industries

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Knowledge of project management software and tools
