Site Engineer

Description:

Dar Kafaa Al-Alia is looking for a competent and experienced Civil Site Engineer to supervise and execute stormwater pipeline and drainage works for our project in Jeddah.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise stormwater pipeline installation works at site.
• Coordinate excavation, trench preparation, dewatering, bedding, pipe laying, backfilling and compaction activities.
• Supervise construction of manholes, catch basins and associated drainage structures.
• Check pipeline levels, slopes, alignments and invert elevations as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate with surveyors, supervisors, operators and site manpower.
• Review drawings, BOQ and project specifications before execution.
• Prepare daily progress reports and monitor productivity.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and consultant/client representatives.
• Ensure site activities comply with project quality and HSE requirements.
• Monitor manpower, equipment and materials required for smooth execution.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in stormwater, drainage, sewerage or underground utility pipeline projects is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of pipeline levels, slopes, excavation and manhole construction.
• Able to understand construction drawings and coordinate site execution independently.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia will be an advantage.
• Candidates currently available in Jeddah / Saudi Arabia will be preferred.
• Transferable Iqama will be an advantage.
