The candidate will be responsible for overseeing vendor registration, conducting commercial evaluations, and performing market analysis to support strategic sourcing and category management decisions. The role maintains the approved vendor list and ensures all procurement activities are aligned with business requirements, market conditions, and performance expectations.

Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in procurement governance, policy design, or supply chain operations.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Requirements: Certified Procurement Professional (CPP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Functional Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end vendor registration process, ensuring timely onboarding, verification, and adherence to internal compliance standards.
- Conduct thorough commercial evaluations of suppliers based on technical, financial, and performance criteria to inform sourcing decisions.
- Perform ongoing market intelligence and benchmarking to track pricing trends, identify emerging vendors, and recommend sourcing strategies.
- Maintain and regularly update the approved vendor list, ensuring suppliers meet performance and compliance thresholds.
- Collaborate with procurement and tender teams to provide vendor insights that support bid evaluations and award recommendations.
- Support periodic vendor performance reviews and provide recommendations for supplier development or replacement.
