Description:

Responsibilities:
* Create precise architectural and interior design drawings using AutoCAD.
* Convert hand sketches and verbal instructions into accurate CAD drawings.
* Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, and assembly diagrams for construction or fit-out.
* Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes or modifications requested by the engineering team.
* Ensure all designs are documented and meet the required standards and codes.
* Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
* Assist in preparing documentation and reports related to project designs and materials.
* Prepare bills of quantities and cost estimates based on drawings.
* Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure the accuracy of the design.
* Assist with the development of design standards and procedures.
* Coordinate with project managers and the team to ensure timely completion of drafts.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD technology and design trends.

Required skills and qualifications:
* Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience as a CAD draftsman in architecture and interior design.
* Proficiency in using AutoCAD, and good knowledge of Xref.
* Solid technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good understanding of engineering design, construction, and architectural drafting principles.
* Ability to interpret and work with complex technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and engineering principles.
* Familiarity with 3D modelling and rendering techniques and visualization tools.
* Ability to manage several projects and coordinate with multiple teams simultaneously.
* Experience in construction documentation and project management.
* Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
* Ability to create presentations and visual aids for project proposals.
* The candidate should already be living in Saudi Arabia.
