Chief Accountant

Description:

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records
Prepare timely financial statements and management reports
Manage monthly and year-end closing activities
Review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounts
Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions
Liaise with external auditors and support the audit process
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal financial policies

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant
Solid understanding of accounting principles and ERP/accounting systems
Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills
Prior experience in the food or retail sector is an advantage

Fluency in Arabic and English is required
