Chief Investment Officer

Description:

A prominent Saudi multi-family office with a multi-billion SAR asset base seeks a Chief Investment Officer to reshape the investment strategy and drive superior risk-adjusted returns. The portfolio spans public equities, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and direct investments in high-growth sectors aligned with Vision 2030. Reporting directly to the Family Council and Principal, the CIO will build and lead a best-in-class investment team.
Key Responsibilities

• Architect and execute a comprehensive global investment strategy and asset allocation framework that balances capital preservation with growth objectives.
• Originate, evaluate, and execute direct investment opportunities, with a particular focus on KSA-based private equity, pre-IPO placements, and venture capital.
• Oversee the selection, monitoring, and performance evaluation of external fund managers and strategic investment partners globally.
• Lead the investment due diligence process, including financial modeling, commercial assessment, and risk analysis for complex transactions.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing investment team while establishing institutional-grade investment processes and governance standards.

 Leadership Expectations

• Minimum 15 years of investment leadership experience, ideally spanning both institutional asset management and private wealth or family office environments.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate the KSA investment landscape, with strong relationships across the local business community and government entities.
• A sophisticated understanding of global capital markets and alternative asset classes, with a proven track record of delivering consistent investment performance.
