Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight:

• Supervise the accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and nonprofit regulations.
• Coordinate the annual budget preparation process and monitor adherence to the budget.

• Investment Management:

• Manage the organization's investment portfolio and develop strategies to optimize returns.
• Assess potential investment opportunities in line with the organization's mission and financial goals.
• Monitor market trends and adjust investment strategies accordingly.

• Expense Management:

• Oversee the organization's expenses and ensure efficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
• Implement cost-control measures to improve financial efficiency.

• Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate financial insights to the Board and leadership team.
• Use financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Compliance Monitoring:

• Ensure the organization complies with all relevant financial regulations.
• Coordinate audit processes and work with external auditors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

• Team Leadership:

• Supervise and support the accounting team in day-to-day operations and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in investment management and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
