Material Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Material Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in construction materials and a proven track record in the contracting sector.

🔹 Key Requirements:
7–20 years of total experience in the construction industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and specifications.
Experience in material approvals, submittals, sourcing, and quality control.
Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, Royal Commission, or government authority requirements is a plus.
Strong understanding of ASTM, ACI, BS, and SASO standards.
Ability to coordinate with suppliers, laboratories, and project teams.
Proficient in preparing technical reports, compliance documents, and material logs.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and approve all construction materials in accordance with project specifications.
Coordinate with consultants and clients for submittal reviews and inspections.
Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with material usage standards.
Liaise with laboratories for material testing and certifications.
Maintain updated records and logs for all material-related documentation.
Support procurement in selecting compliant and cost-effective materials.
